AYURVEDIC & MASSAGE TREATMENT

About Hands, Heart & Soul

Hands, Heart & Soul is an Ayurveda Day spa providing services to support your physical, mental and emotional well being. We use time honored treatments that have been used for millennia to release unwanted stress, restore balance and rejuvenate body, mind and spirit. We are located in Maryland Heights inside the Health Quest Institute.

Our Services

Ayurveda or “science of life” is a tradition of health and well being that has been practiced in India for thousands of years. Here health is a dynamic balance of three natural forces known as the doshas. They are vata (movement), pitta (transformation), and kapha (structure). Treatments help to rebalance these natural forces and allow the mind/body complex to experience deep rest and rejuvenation.

Andrew Nunberg is the owner of Hands, Heart & Soul. He was first introduced to Yoga and meditation in 1998 and received his first Ayurvedic treatment in 1999. Ever since then, Andy has had a keen interest in Ayurveda. A scientist by training, he combines modern, rational understanding with ancient wisdom to help people maintain optimal levels of health and happiness.

Andy is a certified instructor in mindfulness/meditation and yoga through the Art of Living Foundation. He has been teaching various classes and workshops for the past 15 years. He is trained to give Ayurvedic treatments through the Sri Sri Ayurveda Institute for Education and Wellness.

It tones the muscles, nourishes the skin and the 7 Dhatus(tissues) and brings about relaxation of mind and body. Toxins are gently guided toward the digestive system to be eliminated. After the treatment you can rest to integrate the benefits of the treatment into your physiology. Regular abhyanga helps keep the doshas in balance.
