Norman C. Neeb, D.O. Is a licensed physician and surgeon in Missouri. He is board-certified in OMM/NMM (Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine/ Neuro Musculoskeletal Medicine) since 2005. He is an associate staff physician at St. Luke’s DesPeres Medical Center and has over 30 years medical experience.
He was born and raised in and around Buffalo, New York. He received his undergraduate degree in fine arts at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He also had a strong interest in the biological sciences and research. He did work at the State University College at Buffalo and at Roswell Park Cancer Center. He received his Osteopathic medical degree at the College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He continued his training at Riverside Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.
He was the chairman of the osteopathic concepts community at Des Peres Medical Center for 29 years. There he assisted in the training of the students and residents in osteopathic philosophy, physical diagnosis and manipulative treatments techniques.
His professional affiliations include: AOA-American Osteopathic Association, AAO-the American Academy of Osteopathy, MAOPS -Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons, AAMA-American Academy of Medical Acupuncture.
He has been in private practice for over 30 years and provides individualized balanced treatments in an office setting that promotes peacefulness, self confidence, compassion and healing at multiple levels. He is well versed in many healing medical modalities including Ayurveda (the ancient healing system of India) medical acupuncture, essential oils, energy medicine, yoga, meditation, vitamin / mineral and herbal remedies. He treats all ages and all are welcome.
He met the great love of his life here in Saint Louis shortly after moving here. He has been partnered for 22 years. He has been active in community service for many years and has worked with many different organizations. He ran a very successful annual toy drive every winter season for over 10 years. He finds great fulfillment in service to the community. He has taught yoga, yogic breathing and meditation. He has many hobbies and interests outside of medicine (you should check out his treatment rooms- each has a theme) He is also known for his quirky sense of humor.
